Portfolio
CCLF is proud to maintain a diverse and stable portfolio. Since it's founding in 1991, CCLF has closed more than 170 loans across the Chicago metropolitan area from Zion to Riverdale.
Some examples of CCLF financing:
- A $500,000 equipment/working capital loan for I-Go, Chicago’s groundbreaking nonprofit car sharing program, to expand their operations. CCLF’s loan helped three times as many people and businesses at all income levels to participate in this alternative transportation system.
- A $400,000 housing cooperative loan to Racine Courts Cooperative to preserve its 121-unit affordable housing development. Racine Co-op serves households at 30% to 50% of the median income, providing housing for many families who become stable residents.
- A $500,000 construction loan to Keeler-Roosevelt, a for-profit affordable housing developer, for a new roof on the building that was being transformed into a mixed-use project. CCLF’s loan preserved the structure, which serves 26 households at 100% residential affordability, through a hard winter so that it could remain under budget.
- A $493,000 mini-permanent mortgage loan to Hub Housing Cooperative to purchase and rehab a multifamily building in the Little Village community. CCLF’s loan provided space for five low income families to achieve long-term affordability and the opportunity to move toward financial self-sufficiency.
