Amorita Falcon is a member of CCLF’s Portfolio Management team, serving as Portfolio Management Associate. In this role, Amorita provides critical and substantive support to CCLF’s lending, marketing and portfolio management programs, enjoying a wide range of duties and responsibilities.

She has worked on organizing in under-resourced communities, implementing assessment needs, and managing diversity initiatives to build sustainable bridges with minority communities. Prior to joining CCLF in February 2018, Amorita was a Research Assistant at the Metropolitan Planning Council and for the Chicago Community Trust, Elevated Chicago initiative. Most recently, Amorita was featured in the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning’s (CMAP) ON TO 2050 Profile sharing specific recommendations to CMAP’s plan addressing transportation, housing, economic development, open space, the environment, and other quality-of-life issues.

Amorita holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban and Regional Planning and Latina/o Studies from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. In 2019, she earned a Certificate in Community Development Finance, sponsored by the University of New Hampshire’s Carsey School of Public Policy and the Opportunity Finance Network. Her interests include teaching Latin dance and exploring Chicago’s neighborhoods.
