Growing Home

CCLF provided a minipermanent mortgage loan to Growing Home, a transitional employment program, for the construction of the Wood Street Urban Farm. This facility includes 3 hoop houses for the cultivation of edible plants, and a two-story building for offices and cleaning and processing of vegetables. The farm will be utilized as a site to provide further employment skills, as well as providing fresh produce to an underserved area of Chicago.
